Hannaford Madness
"Saving Well, Spending well"

Here are some photo's from Bear Den #3's trip to Hannaford's on January 16th.  It was part of our work on the "Saving Well, Spending well" achievement. The scouts checked prices on two different brands of all items that they had for dinner. They added up the prices of the cheaper brands then divided by the number of servings to get the cost per serving. Then they compared it to the cost of the more expensive brand. The consensus was that for a little bit more money it was worth it to but the better brand. However everyone agreed it would be best to try the cheaper brand first and see if the taste and quality was good before they spent more money on the premium brand.

Autofair Ford & Toyota

On Saturday, January 3, Bear Den #3 went to Autofair Ford and Toyota as part of our Saving well, Spending well achievement.  We evaluated family cars based on MPG, price, capacity, and safety.

What do you think about my baby?
Ain't she sweet?

You know, Tim Allen never touches my car.
